Hummingbird House
Hummingbird House is a quiet four bedroom, four bathroom retreat set
in the hills overlooking Spring Bay. The property's serenity is
accentuated by the open air Dining Room that overlooks the infinity edge swimming pool. The property can be rented
as a four
bedroom villa or as a two bedroom villa. Each side having a separate
entrance, its own fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a
living room and private sun decks.
We
are situated approximately three miles from the town of Port
Elizabeth, on the windward side of the island. each side of the house has an amazing
view of the Caribbean Sea with a soft breeze both day and night. Both
sides of the house come with all the modern amenities: TVs, DVD players,
stereo systems, microwaves, wine fridges, dishwashers, a barbeque ,
refrigerators (w/ice makers) and propane ranges.
The Layout
Layout:
Due to its layout, Hummingbird house is perfect for entertaining
large groups or for quiet intimate getaways.
The Pool
Pool:
The infinity edge pool overlooks the the coconut grove and Spring
Bay. It is perfect for lounging around during the lazy days and
evenings. For the more energetic days, the pool is large enough to
exercise in (approx. 57' x 18'). The average temperature of the pool is
approximately 87 degrees. The pool is maintained through the use of a
salt chlorination system that is continually monitored to produce a
constant low level of ph-balanced chlorine that results in soft, crystal
clear water that sparkles.
The Bedrooms
Bedrooms:
The bedrooms are situated so they have spectacular ocean views. All bedrooms feature queen size beds, fans, mosquito nets, cotton bed linens
and French doors that open onto the sun decks. Side A also has a day bed
in the second bedroom for additional sleeping capacity.
The Living Rooms
Living
Room: The Living Rooms feature vaulted ceilings and
comfortable cotton furniture. Large French doors open onto the pool deck
and provide a gentle cooling breeze . It's a great place to read,
watch a movie, or just relax and listen to music. Side A also has a
queen size sofa bed for additional sleeping capacity.
The Dining Rooms
Dining
Room: The open air Dining Room over looks the pool to
create a spectacular dining ambiance. The dining room table will
accommodate 8 people comfortably.
The Sun Decks
Sun
Decks: There are Sun Decks off of the bedrooms and
by the
Pool. These are perfect locations to
refine your suntan, read a book or just relax in the warm Caribbean sun.
